Festival Volunteer Info
Thank you for
volunteering to work at Scottsdale’s Festival of Greece 2007
sponsored by Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. This year’s festival will be
held at the Scottsdale Civic Center in downtown Scottsdale. As
you can imagine, putting together a festival of this size
requires a huge effort by many people. Your help is essential to
the success of our festival. Volunteering your valuable time is
greatly appreciated and we encourage you to recruit family and
friends to help. This is a great opportunity for community
service, Assumption Greek Orthodox Church will gladly provide you with a letter
confirming your volunteer service!
Please complete this
volunteer form and return it as soon as possible: • Volunteer food handler's card is required for any person who handles, prepares, serves, sells, or gives away food for human consumptions. Cards are free for volunteers; issuance requires the successful passing of a short and simple test. Please visit the Maricopa County Website at http://www.maricopa.gov/envsvc/envhlth/fdwkr.asp for information on obtaining your card. You can review the Maricopa County Food Safety Study Booklet to prepare for the test.
